Dice Roll~
A dice roll would be great, and just a basic d6 would be fine.
I'd say it would be almost a necessity, though not to be used for every little action, and the administrator sets a DC (Difficulty Check) as it would be called in D&D to which they have to equal or beat for the action to go through. That, or if it's in a circumstance where two people need to roll against each other, one just beats the others' roll.
Example:
Two people fighting close quarters.
Dice would make battle much smoother without having to edge around trying not to metagame/powergame/godmod.
Wanna land a hit on that guy that just keeps dodging?
Roll a d6 to his d6.
Wanna do something pretty skillful?
Roll two d6 at a higher check.
Wanna do something fucking crazy?
Roll 3 and land a DC 16+
As for modifiers to add onto the roll, I'd say no more than one single point in any given situation.
Example,
Bob has been eating corndogs for all of his life, three a day, five days a week. He often stabs
at the air with it while daydreaming of being a valiant knight, so he knows how to really thwap someone good
with that corndog stick. Bob gets a +1 to his dice roll.
Bob attacks a rat with Corndog Stick of Truth and he has to land a 3 to beat the rat's dodge.
Bob rolls a 2, but gets +1 because of his skill with the stick and lands the hit.
Fair enough?

Seconded.
But yes, I'm very heavily considering adding the dice mod at least for a short while, just to see how it works out. If it turns out to be a good addition, I'll definitely keep it.
I like the fact that you even threw in explanations and thoughts on how the dice mod could be used and how it should be used. Kudos, my friend. Kudos~
